BROOKS WEAVER
BROOKS WEAVER
I write adult upmarket fantasy where grief, machinery, and myth collide. Ordinary families, buried inheritances, and the enormous machinery running underneath both.
The Guilt of the Good grew out of a question I'd carried a long time: what a father owes the son he's trying to protect, and what the protecting costs them both. I built its world with a mapmaker's eye — my background in geography and geospatial analysis, and a habit of reading the technology underneath a landscape. I live in Northern Virginia, and I measure a good day by the wind — through the trees, off the water, on my face.
